Incoloy 800H/800HTIncoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT are nickel-iron-chromium alloys with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in high-temperature exposure. These alloys are indistinguishable except for the superior carbon level in alloy 800H. Incoloy 800H/HT alloys are utilized for high temperature structural applications. Due to nickel content is high resistant to both chloride stress corrosion cracking as well as embrittlement. Alloys 800H and 800HT have superior creep and stress rupture properties.

Inconel 800 is employed in applications with temperatures up to 1100° F; these alloys are usually utilized in temperatures above 1100° F, as it requires creep and rupture resistance. The chemical balance allocates the nickel steel alloy to exhibit excellent resistance to carburization and oxidation atmospheres. Inconel 718 offer greater service life even after long period of usage in high temperature, where other stainless steel becomes brittle.
